Ski skating: rhythmic, powerful, fast, flowing and graceful—all these words describe the beauty of ski skating and Matt Dayton’s total command of the sport. Dayton, a member of the 2002 U.S. Olympic Team, grew up with cross-country skiing—his parents own the Breckenridge Nordic Center-- and he coaches the Summit Junior Nordic Team in Summit County.

Boulder filmmakers Peter Mortimer and Josh Lowell premiere their superb climbing films First Ascent and Dosage 4 to a raucous sold out crowd at the Boulder Theater. The event is hosted by climber and over- the-top comedian Timmy O'Neil. In this segment the filmmakers talk about their films and the art of shooting in difficult locations, but clips from their films tell it all.
